A Perfect Group Getaway in the Countryside
Tucked away in amongst the rolling hills of the Wiltshire countryside, our converted stables surround a peaceful, landscaped courtyard in the centre of our farm. The six stables can be booked individually but when booked together they offer the perfect base for a group holiday for up to 24 people. When booking all The Stables use of both event spaces; The Barn and The Granary, is included; giving you the option to congregate, celebrate and separate as the mood takes you!
An Elevated Home from Home
Carefully designed with interior stylist Polly Ashman, each stable boasts its own individual style with thoughtful touches to help guests feel luxuriously relaxed. Silbury Hill, the largest of our stables, features a collage of rich hues and textures with bold pink kitchen cabinets. Long Barrow is bright and airy with a playful colour palette and a stylish plaster pink bathroom. Swallowhead Springs is a one bedroom stable decorated in soft and delicate colours with the prettiest of headboards. Longstones is a perfect hideaway for couples with a vaulted ceiling and a large window to create a sense of space. Windmill Hill combines navy blue with golden yellow for a friendly burst of colour and Greyweathers is dressed in muted tones with exposed, local Sarsen stone to help make it a calm and welcoming place to stay.
A Feast with Friends
Upon arrival, visitors are welcomed with a sourdough loaf baked locally as well as milk and butter to build their very own Avebury breakfast. You can also purchase produce from our farm including bacon and sausages to create a morning feast to enjoy with your friends and family over in The Barn or Granary.
No celebration is complete without delicious food to excite the tastebuds and if you’re partying then you certainly don’t want to be cooking away in the kitchen! We would love to help plan and cater for your even, however this does depend on our farming calendar! If we can’t we have a number of fantastic suppliers we can recommend…
Food for Stars - Kirstie brings wonderful flavours to her meals and can cater for all food preferences.
The Baking Chambers - Dylan has worked alongside great chefs in London. Although his website is an ode to sourdough, he is a great cook of all menus!
Catering by Charlotte Anne - We have had the pleasure of sampling her canapés and food at friends' parties.
Vaughan’s Kitchen - Local and great reputation for varied food.
Clean Slate Catering - Milly caters for dinner parties and weddings alike.
Coco & Roses - Caroline is a fantastic local cook specialising in intimate dinners and yoga retreats so can cater for all food preferences.
Foxtrot Catering The team at Foxtrot produce delicious food for all size and style of event.
Smoke Tin Kitchen - John is particularly interested in cooking over wood fire and provides street food and pizzas from his converted horse box.
Foxglove and Ginger - Kiran provides a home delivery and catering service that specialise in authentic, heart-warming, soul-nourishing, East African Indian cuisine.
Botanico Bars - Izzy and Dom provide a variety of mobile bar services either from their converted classic vehicles, or using a traditional bar set up. They can provide a variety of packages and options for your event.
Group Accommodation for all Ages
Our large group accommodation offers a dreamy space for all ages to enjoy, whether you’re a group of adults seeking a venue to celebrate a 40th birthday in style or a group of families with young children looking to escape to the countryside.
Although tastefully decorated to create a tranquil haven for adults, we have designed our stables with little ones in mind too. As well as offering a number of twin bedrooms, our Greyweathers stable includes an ‘adventurous’ double which can be accessed via a ladder or mini climbing wall!
Our team are more than happy to discuss your group stay and suggest suitable activities; we’ve had guests take part in sourdough classes, den building with Mud & Guts, massages in The Granary, yoga retreats, cocktail-making and of course children are more than welcome to come and meet our furry farm residents!

Bowood is a short 20 minute drive away from The Farm and boasts unrivalled leisure facilities making it the perfect place for a pamper. Why not treat yourself to a trip to their award-winning spa? Their luxury spa days are ideal for a relaxing girl’s getaway or surprise birthday gift.
For those looking for something a little more challenging, check out Barbury Shooting School’s party packages. Take part in a full day, half day or even just a few hours of clay pigeon shooting in the Marlborough Downs with the option of formal dining or an alfresco barbecue!
