TERMS OF BOOKING

Terms of Booking, Deposits and Cancellation:
By placing a booking with us (the property owner / their representative) you (the lead guest) and your booking party (guests) agree to the following terms and conditions as set-out. During your stay you agree to abide by the subsequent conditions as set-out. If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us before making a booking.

To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 21 years of age. The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website. Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest taking up the occupation, the person making the booking may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set-out within. Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third party visitors are only allowed access at our express permission.

We do not accept bookings for stag do's or any events similar in nature. If you have booked our accommodation for this type of event then please contact us as soon as possible.

We take 50% deposit payment at time of booking and the remaining 50% 30 days before the arrival date.

Payments can be made online, or by digital bank transfer, cheque or cash deposit. Any charges raised against us by our banks for handling dishonoured cheque's, bank transfers or any other payments, must be reimbursed by the lead guest within seven (7) days of any request to do so.

All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of all other staying guests, neighbours and the owners at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honouring this agreement or causing a disturbance / nuisance to other guests, neighbours or the owners.

Check-in & Check-out
Guests must check-in and check-out by the times stated below;

  • Check-in from: 3:00pm on day of arrival

  • Check-out by: 10:00am on day of departure

Cancellation, Returned Deposit & Non-Arrival Conditions
Guests who need to cancel a booking should contact us as soon as possible.

  • If cancelled within 48 hours of making the booking a full refund will be given.

  • If cancelled after 48 hours but 30 days before the arrival date then a 50% refund will be given if the full balance has been paid. If only a deposit has been paid then there will be no refund due.

  • If a booking is cancelled within 30 days of the arrival date then a refund will not be given.

Vouchers and promo codes

From time to time we run promotions through the use of voucher codes. These vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer which includes discounts on multiple nights. If any vouchers are used that contravene these rules then we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

Children & Babies
If you would like to bring your young children and babies, we have a couple of travel cots and camp beds which can fit in the larger bedrooms. Alternatively, there are two twin rooms for older children.

Room occupancy
Some of our rooms have different rates for single and double occupancy. If you have booked a room for single occupancy but need to change to double please make us aware so we can accommodate housekeeping. If we find additional guests have been staying in the bedrooms, guests will be charged accordingly at check out.

Swimming Pool

An unattended, outdoor Swimming Pool is occasionally made available for use by guests at times that are convenient to the owners. It is in the garden of the main farmhouse and is accessed through the horse paddock directly behind Greyweathers. When made available, the Swimming Pool is provided for use by guests aged 18 and over, and for children under this age only when supervised by a responsible adult, aged over 18.

In making use of these facilities, guests will be deemed to have accepted responsibility for their own safety and other users of these facilities. The owner, N Hues and Sons Farming Partnership, provides and maintains appropriate safety equipment. N Hues and sons will not be liable for any loss or damage to guests’ property nor for any personal injury or death which may arise from use of these facilities and the guests shall indemnify and keep indemnified N Hues and Sons against such costs or liability. Please do not use these facilities when under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Access to the Swimming Pool is provided by means of this scheme. The facilities are not staffed. Accordingly, the responsibility for ensuring the safety of yourself and other users of the facilities rests with you. N Hues and Sons is keen to ensure that the facilities are used safely, and accordingly, has provided appropriate lifesaving equipment.

Only persons aged 18 and over, or children under this age and supervised by a responsible adult over the age of 18, are permitted to use the facilities. In accepting these terms and conditions you agree to be responsible to indemnify N Hues and Sons against any liability which it may incur in relation to the use of the facilities and any loss, damage or injury arising from that.

WiFi Fair & Appropriate Usage Policy
Where WiFi Internet access is provided, guests accept to use this access to the Internet fairly and appropriately. We may monitor network performance and user usage in order to maintain a fair and high level of service to all our guests.

The Internet access provided is intended for general use such as access to the world wide web, email, messaging, social media, light video / music / media streaming. It is not intended or ideally suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads / uploads. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is not prohibited and will be reported to local authorities.

The Farm
The Guest Accommodation, The Parking Area and Courtyard are specifically for the use of guests. All other areas are part of a working farm and as such any guest that enters this space does so at their own risk.

Walking
There are some great walks on footpaths and bridleways in the area but guests are requested not to divert off these paths into the fields or onto other parts of the farm.

Damages & Lost Property
We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimise damage and associated costs. Lost keys will incur a replacement charge per key lost.

Any lost property, if discovered and found, left behind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 month. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure they have all their belonging before checking-out. We may offer to post lost items via recorded delivery at our cost, otherwise collection can be arranged.

Smoking
Smoking of any tobacco products including, but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, cigars, snuff or chewing tobacco, is only allowed outside and is in accordance with the Health Act 2006.

Pets & Service Dogs
Up to two, well-behaved dogs are welcome downstairs in the Stables but are not permitted to go upstairs or in any of the bedrooms. They are also not allowed on any furniture. Owners must ensure that they pick up after their dogs and that dogs are quiet and kept under control at all times. We do have an outside kennel that is also available on request.

Parking
On-site parking is provided and guests accept that they park their vehicles at their own risk.

Your Personal Details & Privacy
We are required to keep a register of guests over the age of 16 who stay with us. These records are kept for a minimum of 12 months and in accordance with the DPA (Data Protection Act 1998) and the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

Our policy surrounding the personal details you provide as part of any booking or enquiry through this website / or third party website, including the privacy of those details are explained and set out in our Privacy Policy which you can access at the bottom of our website.

You accept that any entries you make to an on-site guest book, if available, will not contain personal information or details you would not want disclosed. Any entries containing personal details that may fall into the DPA and GDPR may be removed and destroyed.
